As Community Care Coordinator, my calling is to help the community group leaders:
ESTABLISH faith strong relationships with the people in thier groups,
EXPOSING them to the bible with small bible classes,
EXALTING God by letting each person know we are christians by the way we love,
EQUIPPING them for ministry by ministering to nursing homes with song and prayer and by adopting families in need,
ENERGIZING people; connecting with each other in times of sorrow and joy.
Our goal to be "One" while becoming messengers for God.
There are two major dinners per year where all the community groups come together for a planned celebration. Other than that, each group meets as frequently as they wish.
I have four children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren - this classifies me as a Senior member but one that will be working for the good of us all - to make our world a better place because I was there. Come join us - be a part of an extended church family.
