Back River United Methodist Church

Welcome to Back River, we're glad you have droped by our web site. We celebrated a beautiful Easter Worship both on the beach at Rocky Point and in our Sanctuary. Look closely at the picture above and you can see the Cross in the first rays of Resurrection Morning Light. This is no photographers trick, God really did provide this amazing view to remind us of His great love for us. And we responded as we greeted the dawn in song, parable and message giving our praise to our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ. God's amazing creation joined in celebration as the Geese flew over, the Osprey sang out its morning cry and a pair of Mallard ducks shared their new nesting site with us. In our Sanctuary we continued our worship with our Adult Choir, Special Celebration music and our children.

Easter morning marked the beginning of our new series, Relationships with God. We are exploring what being a Christian means in this day, and how we intergrate our faith in our daily life. The series continues through the spring. On Tuesday evening we will begin our new 7 week series Bible Study starting with the gospels. Won't you come join us for worship, study, prayer and fellowship?
