Reaching for Hope

     It was a small town like so many other towns on the outskirts of a larger city. The people loved their families, raised their kids, and worked hard each day.They looked forward to holidays and family gatherings. They had bills to pay from shrinking resources and somebody was always sick. When they dreamed of a better life, they thought way beyond themselves; to a place and a time they hoped would come. They were a lot like us, although they lived a very long time ago.   

This Christmas Season come and share with us as we explore their hopes and dreams. For in doing so we will find our own deep desires in this timeless story of God coming to us as a child.
